Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people.
I'll make someone smile.
I'll go out of my way to perform an unexpected
act of kindness for someone I don't even know.

My favorite "smile sharing" technique is to smile at other drivers when I am at a stop light. I feel the genuine joy of life I have inside and let my face light up and show it. It is such fun to see other people's reactions! Some are surprised and almost all are delighted and return the smile. I am not sure what I enjoy most, sharing my smile of receiving the genuine smile in return!
My spontaneous act of kindness was actually a kind surreptitious act. :) There is a new whiteboard (large) in the recently renovated auditorium of our facility. One has to pass through the auditorium to move from one wing of the building to the other on the second floor. Rarely, if ever, is another person also passing through the auditorium at the same time. Therefore when you enter, you feel an immediate sense of space; a momentary "breather", if you will. It's a 10 second refresher as you pass through. I wrote an inspirational quote on the whiteboard in large handwriting. People that I don't know (although I may know their name and face) will notice it. Perhaps some will be inspired by it.
